John, before I was ever elected, I served for 15 years in the medical field.
From being an RN to an investigator for the Center for Disease Control, taking care of others has always been important to me.
So in 2020, when I watched in horror as the Republican Party made us choose between our health and our right to vote, I knew I had to act. So I ran for the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Not only did I run against an entrenched Republican in a gerrymandered district, I won.
After a term in the Legislature, I was elected as your Lieutenant Governor to join Governor Evers on the ticket in 2022.
Over the course of the last two years, Governor Evers and I have had a top priority: you.
We've advocated for strong public schools, a healthcare system that works for everyone, and reproductive freedom. We've vetoed dozens of terrible Republican bills, and we've stood up to GOP extremists who try to bully working Wisconsinites.
But we have the opportunity to do so much more: with fairer maps this year, we can build a Democratic majority in both chambers and pass our pro-people agenda.
John, I want you alongside me. I need your support to elect champions of our health, our schools, and our freedoms. Can you make a contribution today?>>
