JOHN,
I’m reaching out because I’m beyond outraged by the recent revelation that
Tulsi Gabbard—a decorated veteran and former presidential candidate—has been
placed on aTSA watchlist <[link removed]> under
the so-called “Quiet Skies” program.
Let's be clear: this isn’t just some bureaucratic oversight; it’s a disgrace.
We’re talking about a woman who has served her country with honor, now being
treated worse than
<[link removed]>
a potential terrorist.
<[link removed]>
The TSA claims that race and religion aren't factors in their decision-making,
but they conveniently sidestep the issue of political affiliation. What they
fail to address is how someone like Tulsi ends up on a list like this—someone
who has done nothing but speak her mind and stand up for what she believes in.
I have demanded a meeting
<[link removed]> with TSA Administrator
David Pekoske, and I’m not interested in runarounds or double-speak. I want
straight answers. The American people deserve to know why a patriot like Tulsi
Gabbard is being scrutinized in this manner. This isn't just about her—it's
about the precedent this sets for anyone who dares to think differently in this
country.
I’ll be pushing hard on this issue until we get to the dadgum bottom of it. If
we start letting government agenciestarget individuals
<[link removed]>
based on their political views, we’re heading down a very dangerous path.
As always, JOHN, thank you for your time, and I encourage you to stay informed
and speak out on this issue. It’s too important to ignore.
Sincerely,
<[link removed]>
Tim Burchett
