We’re just a week away from the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and we’re excited to be hosting our own event in the city next week.

If you’re in town for the convention, join the Center for New Liberalism at the DNC next Tuesday, August 20th at Carnivale in Chicago ! From 5 to 10 PM , we are hosting a Reception and Watch Party for the Tuesday Night activities at the DNC. Card-carrying New Liberal Rep. Scott Peters (CA-50) , UK Labour General Secretary David Evans, Lucy Rigby, MP, Mike Tapp, MP, and Siobhan McDonagh MP will be joining us. Drinks are on us, and we hope to see you there!

Right before our event, our old friends at the Progressive Policy Institute are hosting an afternoon of programming at the same location. If you are in Chicago for the DNC, or just live in the city, we encourage you to stop by this event for the opportunity to hear from two of our favorite elected officials: Senator Michael Bennet, and Colorado Governor Jared Polis. In addition to the fireside chats with Bennet and Polis, there will be two panels on the policies that matter to working Americans across the nation. Also joining PPI at this event will be Rep. Susan Wild (PA-07), Rep. Adriano Espaillat (NY-13), Former Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza, WI State Sen.-Elect Dora Drake, and Former U.S. Rep and PPI Senior Advisor Tim Ryan (OH-13).
