APRIL 27, 2020: Fifty-four percent (54%) of voters are at least somewhat concerned that public officials may use the pandemic ([link removed]) as an excuse to infringe upon the religious liberties ([link removed]) of faith communities. The _Just the News_ Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen ([link removed]) found that 40% do not share that concern while 5% are not sure.[1] ([link removed])
Those totals include 30% who are Very Concerned about the potential for infringing upon religious liberties and 23% who are Not At All Concerned.[1] ([link removed])
Concerns are expressed by 53% of white voters, 56% of black voters, and 59% of Hispanic voters.[1] ([link removed])
Seventy percent (70%) of Republicans ([link removed]) are concerned along with 51% of independent ([link removed]) voters and 43% of Democrats ([link removed]) .[1] ([link removed])
