Today, on World Elephant Day, I have the honor of sharing our new short documentary about Joyce, an elephant stolen from the wild when she was just a baby. For decades, Joyce has been forced to endure captivity and exploitation, sold and resold, for human entertainment. Today, she languishes, trapped in a small, barren enclosure at Six Flags Wild Safari in New Jersey.

Narrated by award-winning actress and activist Evanna Lynch and directed by filmmaker Miguel Endara, this powerful documentary investigates Joyce’s story and how we can change it from one of suffering to one of hope.
