Mayor London Breed Endorses Bilal for Supervisor 
Hi John,

I am honored to announce that Mayor London Breed is endorsing our campaign to be the next Supervisor of District 5.

And to celebrate the announcement, the Mayor will be joining our rally this Saturday, August 17 @ 1PM in Fillmore Plaza alongside former D5 Supervisor Vallie Brown and BART Director Lateefah Simon (RSVP here today!)

This endorsement is significant for multiple reasons.

For 4 years now, District 5 has lacked a Supervisor who is willing to collaborate with our Mayor. This has led to a lack of progress on issues ranging from building more housing to addressing our fentanyl crisis. 

District 5 deserves a Supervisor that is willing to compromise and build consensus. Someone who puts the needs of constituents above personal ideology.

I am honored to partner with Mayor Breed who understands the needs of our district better than anyone. Growing up in public housing in the Western Addition, she has a deeply personal and bold platform to revitalize our city for the next 4 years.

We share a vision for an abundant San Francisco that can house all our residents, and I am excited to partner with Mayor Breed towards that reality.
