Through the agony and loneliness of her medical journey, Lila was a crucial source of strength. So when Lynetta was connected to Make-A-Wish, she knew that her wish was to take a road trip to see Lila again. As soon as they saw each other, it was pure joy. Now cancer-free, Lynetta’s wish was a turning point that sparked her belief that she can experience life beyond her illness.
