Notice to State Scallop License holders:
Good morning,
At last Thursday's SAC meeting, there was interest expressed in scallop enhancement. For those wanting to learn more about the topic, there is an enhancement workshop scheduled for late October in Providence, Rhode Island. Also, a follow-up hybrid meeting has been scheduled for the Scallop Advisory Council to discuss final recommendations for this coming season's Zone 2 management. The meeting will be held at DMR HQ in Augusta - Conference Room 118 and also online via TEAMS make recommendations for the upcoming 2024-2025 scallop season:
- Wednesday, August 21st @ 4pm; DMR HQ, Room 118, Augusta, ME
This meeting will solely focus on management measures for Zone 2 for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Recommendations for Zones 1 and 3 were made during the August 8th meeting.
