Virginia Minimum Wage to Increase in 2025

The Virginia Department of Labor and Industry announced on August 7 that the Virginia minimum wage will increase from $12.00 to $12.41.

This increase will be applicable to all employees in the Commonwealth, effective January 1, 2025. This increase is to account for inflation, as will future minimum wage increases under current Commonwealth statutes. Please check the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry for more information.
