Team, it's Ilhan.

You may have heard me say before that in times like these, I like to be direct. So I'll be direct:

Our primary here in Minnesota is tomorrow.

Outside spending groups affiliated with AIPAC have poured obscene amounts of money into our district over the past few days in support of my opponent.

Trump donors and the alt-right are mobilizing Republicans to vote in our Democratic primary to try and swing this election his way at the eleventh hour.

The bottom line is that in order to fight back, we need today to be one of our biggest fundraising days of the entire race so far.

We're powering this campaign the same way we always have — together. That means lots and lots of individual, grassroots contributions made by lots and lots of people chipping in what they can.

So I'm asking:

Can you make a contribution before our primary tomorrow? Anything you can add would mean so much — not just to me personally, but to our grassroots campaign here in Minnesota and to our entire progressive movement nationwide.

I knew from the day we launched my first campaign that so long as we stuck to our values and fought for working people, our opponents would stop at nothing to try and defeat us.

Going toe-to-toe with the wealthy and powerful in this country is never easy. It takes a lot of hard work — work that nobody can do all alone.

That's why when I see our incredible grassroots team out in the streets having conversations with neighbors, in our field offices making calls to remind folks to vote, attending our rallies, or donating to emails like this one, I know that we're going to win.
