Yesterday, we had the first debate of our race, hosted by the NAACP. This was what the voters saw instead:

Dan was there — taking questions from voters and sharing his ideas to help North Carolina families. Our opponent was a no-show — hiding from voters and unwilling to defend his terrible record on healthcare.

Dan McCready shows up because he’s in this race to put the people first and fight for everyone in the 9th District. Our opponent Dan Bishop is a career politician who couldn’t be bothered.

Look, if you can’t take the time to listen and ask for the people’s vote, then you shouldn’t be in Congress.

Special interests are dumping millions of dollars into our district because they know they’ll have his ear and his vote in Washington.

We need to stop them from buying this seat.
