I’m outraged—and I’m sure you are too. What happened to my colleagues in Paris this past week is a direct assault on our freedom and faith – and a direct attack on YOU.
The French police unjustly arrested 6 of my CitizenGO team members while they were in Paris to amplify the peaceful message on our bus against the attacks and mockery of Christians at the Olympics.
In a cruel twist of irony, as they asked to stop the attacks, they were attacked themselves. As they sought to end the mockery, they were humiliated themselves. They were detained, stripped, handcuffed, and locked up – their dignity assaulted and their basic rights denied – all for daring to stand up for our faith. This wasn’t just an arrest; it was an attempt to silence us, to humiliate us, and to deny our basic rights.

If you don’t know the background yet, here’s what you need to know: CitizenGO was in Paris representing YOU to demand that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) apologize for mocking Christians during their opening ceremony and silencing Christian athletes from making public statements about their faith.
We had a bus emblazoned with a message to the IOC to “Stop Attacks on Christians”... it was a bus that was completely permitted on the streets of Paris and France.
But what our team faced was the response not of a democratic government, but of a regime that's anti-Christian, anti-freedom, and determined to stomp out any resistance to the radical LGBTQ ideology behind the perverted Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
Within mere hours, the French police, acting like tyrants, swooped in and arrested our team. They were lied to, stripped, searched, and denied access to personal lawyers and contact with family. They were detained - some even without food or water, and left in a hot and humid basement cell, until the early hours of the morning – all without any legal grounds!
This is a blatant, lawless ideological attack on our fundamental freedoms – freedom of speech, freedom of faith, and our right to express ourselves peacefully. As I said at the start of this letter, it’s an attack on YOU and everything we stand for!
I will not let this stand. You can not let this stand. While our team is safely back home now and unyieldingly planning our next steps, we need your help to make sure this violation of their rights becomes known worldwide.
