The world is heating up, hungry for change, and the actions of individuals and organizations like ours really matters.
With that in mind, this Tuesday (8.13) at 6pm the Memphis-Midsouth chapter of DSA will hold a General Meeting at RP Tracks, in Memphis.
Please attend and participate; these meetings are opportunities to hear reports on our chapters' activities, get plugged in, present items before the chapter, and for members to vote on them. Your presence matters and you can influence what our chapter chooses to do!
Among other things, at this meeting we will discuss a possible endorsement of Noah Nordstrom, who is running as a Democrat for TN House district 83 against Republican Mark White. Nordstrom has filled out an endorsement survey for our members' review (QR below). Please read his responses carefully.
After you do, please vote on whether you would like for the chapter to endorse Nordstrom. The votes of a majority of voting members will decide definitively whether we will make the endorsement. Follow this link, and vote to determine the actions of our organization.
You have until August 23rd to vote!
See you Tuesday.
In solidarity,
Liam Wright
Secretary, Memphis-Midsouth Chapter of DSA
