I'll keep this simple: Big cats should not be held in private captivity.

Breeding animals like lions, tigers, cheetahs, bobcats, cougars, and leopards for profit is inhumane and too often results in disaster -- for humans and big cats.

If you, like me, believe big cats should not be kept as pets, please ADD YOUR NAME>>



 

While states like California already have comprehensive exotic animal laws in place, other states do not -- meaning big cats are still in danger of being mishandled or abused (as evidenced by Netflix's Tiger King). That's why I'm calling for a federal law to ban the private ownership of big cats nationwide.
