You might have seen the news that an Iowa abortion law preventing most abortions after about six weeks of pregnancy – before many women even know they’re pregnant – has taken effect.
And then there’s Donald Trump’s running mate, J.D. Vance. Vance has called for a national abortion ban, and he has even said the government should restrict women’s rights to travel for abortion care.
Senate Republicans recently shot down our bill protecting access to birth control.
Meanwhile, I’m working to pass my Freedom To Travel for Health Care Act and to codify Roe into law.
The contrast is clear. And the stakes in this election are as high as they’ve ever been for women’s freedoms. MAGA extremists will take women's reproductive freedom backwards if they win in November.
