John, I'd like to introduce you to Mckayla Wilkes.
Like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley before her, Mckayla is a
progressive champion running to not just beat Republicans, but reform the
Democratic Party too.
Check her out for yourself right now by watching her powerful campaign
video. She'll introduce who she is better than I can. She'll show how her
life story gives her a life perspective we haven't seen in Congress, but
we desperately need. And you'll find out what she's fighting for and who
she's trying to replace all in just 3 minutes.
[ [link removed] ]After you check it out, if you're like me and want to see Mckayla stand
up for progressives in Congress, then contribute what you can to fuel the
campaign right now at this critical time.

Let's have some real talk here. Steny Hoyer is 80, white and male.
When people ask, how can Congress be so out of touch with the average
American, look no further than at the demographic stats alone.
The average man in America lives to be 79 and retires at the age of 60.
The average age of Democratic House Leadership in Congress is 72. Over 50%
of all Americans are women, but less than 25% of House is. And 40% of all
women in America are women of color, yet again, they're only 10% of the
House.
One more stat to consider: the median age in America is 38 years old. That
also happens to be how long Steny Hoyer has held this seat.
With such a long history in Congress, Steny Hoyer's track record is clear.
He's stomped on progressive policy from Medicare for All to the Green New
Deal. He's pushed for cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid as
part of a grand bargain with Republicans, pushed trade deals that hurt the
American worker, and even sided with Republicans on tax cuts for the rich
and bailouts for banks.
Mckayla is 30 and a woman of color who's life experience, as you'll learn
in her video, brings a fresh new perspective to Congress.
Mckayla isn't a career politician, she's a regular person who is committed
to moving America forward by tackling the big issues of today and
tomorrow, not stuck in the politics of the past.
Mckayla is a progressive, fighting for Medicare for All, the Green New
Deal, criminal justice reform, and protections for immigrants and
marginalized communities while building an economy that works for
everyone, not just corporations and Wall Street billionaires.
[ [link removed] ]Watch Mckayla's inspiring video and learn her story, the story of a
movement, bigger than any one person, that has only just begun. And after
you watch the video, get inspired. Do something right now. Contribute to
send another fighter to Congress.
Thank you for everything you're doing to elect powerful progressive women
to office nationwide.
Stay safe, stay healthy, and keep fighting to win.
