I had the opportunity to speak on reproductive freedom at the Paint The Polls Black event recently, and I wanted to share a bit about what I said with you today, John:

When we talk about reproductive justice, when we talk about people being able to have the right to make their own healthcare decisions, when we talk about the crisis that is infant and maternal mortality, we have to also talk about voting.

I hail from the state where the evangelist of Trump's 2025 project is now the Vice Presidential pick, JD Vance. This is a person who believes abortion should be banned and opposes exceptions for rap and incest survivors. Trump and Vance have made it clear that they will strip away our rights and make it more difficult for people to get the care they need.

On the other hand, we have an opportunity to elect an administration that supports the right to choose. But that will only happen if voters turn out in November and vote blue.

I am proud to be at the forefront of the fight for policies that support reproductive rights, but I cannot do it alone. Will you help ensure that I can defeat my opponents this November by rushing $5 or more today? →
