I have a few minutes of free time today, and I’ve been reflecting on this
campaign and why it means so much not just to me, but to my whole family.



I don’t get a lot of time to just sit and think like this these days, so I
wanted to take a moment and share why this race is so important.



Up until I was four years old, my family lived in fear of the incoming
Communist invasion. My father was even put on a kill list because he
represented freedom.



But then, we came to America and everything changed.



For the first time, we could live freely without fear that a tyrannical
government would come and take us away in the Middle of the night.



In America, I felt safe. I knew I owed my life to this country, so that’s why
I dedicated 25 years in Navy Special Operations to fighting on the front lines
for it.



When I finally retired after a long career in combat, I was looking forward to
finally taking a moment to relax.But then, I saw the state Joe Biden and Kamala
Harris had left our country in.



Between indoctrination of children in schools, bending the knee to jihadist
terrorists, and a failing economy, this wasn’t the land of opportunity that my
family and I had come to decades ago.



I could see the country I loved going down the path of the one I left, and I
knew I had to do something about it.



That’s why I decided to run for U.S. Senate.



Now, we’re climbing in the polls, and we have a real chance at making things
RIGHT again in America, but I can’t do it without you.
