Champions of the Pacific

Joined by List MP Tanya Unkovich, party leader Rt Hon Winston Peters accepted a petition this week on the steps of parliament, highlighting the ongoing issue around the societal creep of gender ideology.

Winston has also been leading the charge on the media’s latest disinformation attempt. The irony is not lost on us when we get called out for disinformation, only to see the same article rebuked with an apology.

New Zealand First campaigned to protect the safety and interests of girls and women, and fairness in sport is an essential aspect of this. Read what Winston had to say here.

And rounding out the latest sitting block this week was List MP Jenny Marcroft praising the efforts of our leader Rt Hon Winston Peters as a champion of the Pacific. Watch the video here.

Hear more from Winston direct in the following interview with Dale Husband this week:

“The electricity industry has been hijacked by a narrow range of corporate interests and their managers, and they're called the gentailers, and they are holding industry to ransom.

The entire electrical institutional settings are overdue for a dose of socks.” – Shane Jones

New Zealand First has always campaigned on policy that protects and progresses the interests of everyday Kiwis, and we know that the cost of living is impacting pockets heavily.

Practical solutions are needed as fast as possible, and we are taking on the banks with a parliamentary banking inquiry, we will rally against the supermarket duopoly, and electricity pricing is just as important to pull into line.
