Votes against oversight

Hi John,

David Schweikert has once again shown that he will only fight for his corporate donors and he will always put politics before humanity.

On Wednesday, he told KTAR news that additional small business aid was taking so long because of Democratic "desires for Christmas trees."

The recent $483 billion COVID-19 aid package passed by Congress not only included an additional $310 billion directly for small businesses, but also $75 billion for hospitals during this crisis and funds for expanded testing.

The GOP's original proposal, however, contained less for small businesses and nothing for testing or hospitals.

So what exactly is Rep. Schweikert calling holiday wishes?

Is he against testing and funding for public health during this crisis? It seems so.

And let's remember, Schweikert is no small business champion either.

Too many of our AZ-06 small businesses needed Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds urgently weeks ago, but their funds went to big business.

To make matters worse, Arizona received insufficient funds from the start. In fact, we are in the top 10 states to receive *the least* PPP funding when compared to unemployment claims.

Where has Schweikert been?

He certainly hasn't been fighting for our community.

Instead, on Thursday he voted NO on an oversight panel to ensure COVID-19 relief funds would actually go to those who need them.

It is clear that, even during a public health crisis, David Schweikert will always put us last.

Unlike him, I won't put corporate donors first. I won't take their money.

I will always put humanity first.

Stay safe, and we'll stop Schweikert together.

* Many of you know that I stopped fundraising over a month ago as we struggle with this crisis. I'm asking for contributions now because this fight is one we can win. We are so close.

We just need to be ready and we need to hit our end of April goals to get there. If you are able to give, every $ truly does help our grassroots effort.
