Hey there. It’s Adam Schiff. You might know me as the lead prosecutor in Trump’s first impeachment trial, or from my service on the January 6th Committee.

Unless you are part of MAGA world, in which case you may recognize me from Trump’s frequent attacks and name calling. He likes to refer to me as “sleazebag,” “shifty,” or more recently, “one of the true lowlifes in the history of politics in America.” He apparently doesn’t like me very much.

It’s now the same way Trump is going after my friend in Congress, Elissa Slotkin. She may not have the long list of nicknames I have, but he recently called her a "Far Left Liberal Lunatic," so she's on her way.

Republicans go after people like Elissa because they know she is smart, effective, knowledgeable and tough.

If they weren't concerned about Elissa, they'd ignore her. But Trump and all Republicans know that there is no winning the Senate, and there is no winning the White House without Michigan.

So they will attack and attack and attack her relentlessly. Just like they attack me.

I am writing to you today because if we all have Elissa's back, she's going to win her race. But it will take a team. So I am asking:

Can I count on you to make a contribution to Elissa Slotkin's campaign for Senate in Michigan? Her average online donation is around $30. Some give more. Some give less. All that matters is that she gets lots and lots of donations today.
