Dear John,

It was a busy week, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting
for our conservative values.

I'm excited to share that, through a bipartisan effort with Senators Amy
Klobuchar and Tina Smith, we've secured a $1.36 million federal grant to expand
and improve the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. This funding
will add 1,080 new columbarium vaults, enhance the landscaping, and upgrade the
irrigation system, ensuring that more than 59,000 veterans and their families
have a dignified and peaceful resting place. This is a meaningful way to honor
the sacrifices of our service members, and I'm proud to be part of this effort
to give back to those who have given so much for our nation.

On Tuesday, Kamala Harris selected Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. For
most Americans unfamiliar with Walz, they’d be fooled by his moderate label.
But Minnesotans know Walz isn’t a moderate—he’s a far-left governor with
policies that pushed Minnesota toward socialism. His tenure has been a complete
disaster for our state. His weak, inept handling of the 2020 riots turned
Minneapolis into a battleground, while his open-border agenda and sanctuary
state push put our safety and resources at risk. And let’s not forget his
brutal COVID policies that destroyed local businesses and livelihoods. With
Walz on Harris’s ticket, we’re looking at more of the same radical, failed
policies that have already hurt our state.

I want to hammer home just how wrong Walz is for our country. We can’t have a
Vice President who has no respect for our elections, the rule of law and the
Constitution. We cannot have someone who gave driver’s licenses, healthcare and
sanctuary to illegal immigrants. We cannot have someone gung-ho about abortion
until the moment of birth or who openly embraces socialism as neighborliness.
No matter where you look, Tim Walz and Kamala Harris are on the wrong side of
every issue—putting Americans last. We don’t need it on a national level, or at
any level.

Before I wrap up, I want to share a reminder about Minnesota’s Republican
primary election in three short days on Tuesday, August 13. If you live in the
Seventh District, I humbly ask for your vote. Many county auditors are open for
voting today; find contact information for your county auditor at thislink
<[link removed]>.
You can also vote at your county auditor’s office on Monday or participate on
Election Day. Make your plan to vote with this information from theSecretary of
State’s website

As always, please contact my office if you have any questions about my record
or my votes, or if there is anything we can help with. Thank you for your
continued support!

With gratitude,
