Our freedom to make decisions about our own bodies is on the line in this race – and that’s not an exaggeration.

Republicans have already overturned Roe v. Wade, and now they're aiming for a national abortion ban. They need a House majority to make that happen – and they know that beating me is their path to controlling Congress, which is why they’re pouring millions of dollars into TV ads here.

I have always stood up for the right to choose, and I always will. Can I count on you to pitch in, help me win this incredibly close race, and elect a pro-choice, Democratic majority to Congress?

Here’s the choice we face:

If we win, we’ll have our very best shot at restoring abortion rights in all 50 states. I was proud to help pass Oregon’s law protecting abortion rights, and I’m fighting every day to pass federal legislation doing the very same thing.

If my opponent wins, we’re one step closer to losing abortion rights across the country. He’s consistently targeted the very abortion law I helped pass. And his victory could give Republicans the final vote they need to ban abortion nationally.

Two years ago, I beat the very same opponent with just 50.1% of the vote, so, yeah, this race figures to be a nailbiter. But this time around, National Republicans are flooding this district with even more money to fund attack ads against me — so we need every bit of support to counter their spending.
