James, this is our biggest test yet: On Tuesday, Wisconsin voters will cast our ballots in the primary election – which means we’ll know our opponent.

We’ve set a goal of raising $20,000 online before the primary – it’s a high goal, but with your help I know we can reach it. Will you pitch in to our pre-primary fund right now and help elect Kristin Lyerly as the first OB/GYN in Congress?

No matter who our Republican opponent is, they’ve all got a few things in common:

• All of them seem more interested in playing politics with our medical decisions and slinging attacks than they are in finding solutions for Wisconsin families
   
• All of them will have the backing of the GOP establishment – and the big-money special interests eyeing this race
   
• All of them are too extreme for Wisconsin

So regardless of who wins the GOP primary, we need to be ready right out of the gate. Right now, our volunteers are already talking with neighbors, friends, and family about the importance of this race.

But we’ll be competing against a flood of Republican spending, and it’s going to take all of us rallying together to fight back.
