The Bureau of Land Management is charged with the humane care of these wild horses and burros. But instead, they employ violent tactics, using helicopters to herd horses into giant pens often miles away.
To me, “humanely” does not mean running horses down with helicopters.
Cattlemen see our wild horses as pests, but I see so much more. That is why I am proud to introduce bipartisan legislation banning these inhumane herding practices.
