Successful Summer Reading Club
Congratulations, and thank you to our Summer Reading Club participants and sponsors! HEB Reads! readers logged over 8.8 MILLION minutes of reading this summer. Shiver me timbers; that's over TWO MILLION MORE minutes than last year!

Doggie Dive-In

Bring your four-legged friends for some fun in the sun at Central Aquatics Center on August 10! Please note that all dogs must be spayed/neutered, and proof of up-to-date vaccinations, including a current rabies shot, is required upon entrance to the event. Recreation Center Update
The Hurst Recreation Center is CLOSED for minor repairs, painting, and deep cleaning from Monday, August 12 to Saturday, August 17. Normal operating hours resume on Monday, August 19. The Recreation Administrative Office will remain available for phone calls during this week. Please contact 817.788.7367 if you have questions or concerns.
Kid's Triathlon Registration
September 21 | 7:30 a.m. Chisholm Park 2200 Norwood Dr. Hurst, Texas 76054
Registration is now OPEN for our Kid’s Triathlon happening September 21 at Chisholm Park! Athletes will bike the path around Chisholm Aquatics Center, run a short course, and finish off by going down a water slide! This event is FREE and open to those ages 5-12. See you at the finish line!

Texas Bluebonnet Award Book Club

Kids in grades 3-6 and a caregiver can dig deep into this year's Texas Bluebonnet Award List at Bluebonnet Book Club! For August, we'll be reading "Daybreak on Raven Island" by Fleur T. Bradley.
Fellowship of the Crafters

Each crafting project is its own epic journey, but you don't have to craft alone. Join the Fellowship of the Crafters every 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in the Library Reading Alcove with your current work in progress, regardless of the medium. We provide the chat and snacks, and you provide the craft!
