John,

First, it's an honor to be chosen by South Sound voters to move forward to the general election! Thank you to each and every one of you who have contributed to our people-powered movement.

I’m incredibly proud to represent Washington’s 10th District in Congress – and my work is far from finished. To win in November, I need your help. Will you become a 2024 Founding Donor to my campaign now, John? [[link removed]]BECOME A FOUNDING DONOR [[link removed]]

As you know, I hold the distinction of being the first Black woman elected from the Pacific Northwest and one of the first Korean women ever elected to Congress. And, currently, I am the only Black and Asian woman in Congress.

For what it’s worth, Vice President (*ahem, Democratic Presidential nominee*) Kamala Harris and Congressman Bobby Scott are the only other elected federal officials who are Black and Asian American.

While being “the first” has always meant I had to work twice as hard to get half as far – I’ve never let it slow me down.

My heritage, like so many mixed race leaders, makes me a stronger leader because I’ll work in coalition with whoever is willing to get the job done. And this year, that means defeating the right-wing extremists that threaten to unravel our democracy.

It’s crucial that we stand together and reaffirm our commitment to the values that unite us.

Your support has been instrumental in the past. I need your help again this year, John. I am asking you to step up once again and support my campaign as we continue to fight against hate, discrimination, and divisiveness.

Will you join my campaign as a 2024 Founding Donor today? [[link removed]]BECOME A FOUNDING DONOR [[link removed]]
