We have two glaring examples of government corruption and ineptitude that prove the point. Rising insurance premiums: As the result of a redesign of Medicare Part D (that’s the prescription drug program), premiums were expected to rise substantially – and right before the election. Now, the Biden Administration is using a phony “demonstration project” to push those premium increase off until after the election. Once the election is over, premiums will inevitably rise. Fraud in Obamacare: The Paragon Institute has issued a new study that found the Biden Administration has let 4-5 million people who don’t meet the criteria for low-income subsidies under Obamacare get those subsidies anyway. The cost to taxpayers like you is somewhere between $15 to $26 billion a year. These two examples show why we are so passionate about the Personal Option. The Personal Option is the health care plan that focuses on empowering individuals and families, not the government or health insurance companies. With coverage options like Health Savings Accounts and Direct Primary Care that cut out the insurance company middleman. And personal health credits that would let Americans choose the coverage that is right for them and their family.
