John,
Tonight, we will join together for the WFP Assembly, our monthly membership gathering where we build community and renew our commitment to fighting for one another.
When we met last month, we were just beginning to experience the effects of this pandemic. Four weeks later, the true devastation of this crisis has become even more apparent.
So on tonight’s Assembly, we’ll hear from two leaders who are fighting for working people at one of the epicenters of this crisis — NY State Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou and Democratic primary challenger for New York’s 16th Congressional District Jamaal Bowman.
Please join WFP champions Yuh-Line Niou and Jamaal Bowman tonight at 8pm ET/5pm PT for a very important WFP Assembly to discuss what’s possible in a post-COVID world.

Both Yuh-Line and Jamaal have been powerful advocates throughout this crisis — not only calling for the necessary funds to meet this moment, but to go a step further and advocate for transformative change that will prevent a crisis like this from ever happening again.
John, if this experience has taught us anything, it’s that we cannot go back to the status quo, because it’s the status quo that allowed this crisis to spiral out of control in the first place.
We must join together and rebuild a new society that works for the many, and not just the few.
Please join the WFP Assembly tonight, Sunday, April 26 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to find out how. All you need to join us tonight is a phone or a computer.
Thanks for all that you do,
