Hi there --
Earlier this week, we asked for your help protecting the US Postal Service -- which could run out of funding in a matter of months.
Things got more dire on Friday, when President Trump announced that he intends to block emergency funding to keep the USPS afloat unless the service hikes up its prices.
We’re still collecting signatures on our petition urging the Trump administration to save the USPS before time -- and money -- runs out. We just pulled the numbers though, and it looks like we still need 72 signatures from xxxxxx.
Will you take 20 seconds right now to add your name here? >>

More than 600,000 essential workers and millions of Americans who rely on the US postal service to stay connected are counting on us to win this fight. Thank you so much for getting involved.

This is urgent, team -- the US Postal Service could be forced to shutter its doors unless President Trump steps up to provide a lifeline amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Time is running out to keep our post offices open and protect the jobs of more than 600,000 Americans: Because, if we don’t act now, the USPS could run out of money as early as September 2020!
In the midst of this public health crisis, the USPS has been critical to keeping us all connected. Letter carriers have put themselves on the front lines of the virus in order to deliver essential information, prescriptions, and Social Security checks to Americans across the country. And in the upcoming months, the USPS will be key to allowing millions of Americans to vote safely by mail in the 2020 elections.
But when he had the chance to save the USPS, President Trump instead blocked emergency funding for the service -- and he has reportedly even gone as far as threatening to veto any legislation that provides grants to the USPS.
We cannot allow the USPS to crumble -- especially not when these essential workers are putting themselves at risk to keep us connected. We need 200 signers from xxxxxx to add your name to our petition: Tell Trump to protect our Postal Service! >>
