In that same interview, McGraw continued to show he’s never read the Constitution.
"There have been these constructs that we have adopted, that have been thrust upon us by a secular society that was supposed to keep church and state separate, it is not in the Constitution but most people have adopted it as it is though it’s an axiom that needs to be followed. That is not true and it is a lie."
Instead of talking about the issues that our neighbors care about, like cutting prescription drug costs and creating sustainable jobs, he’s chosen to fill his stump speeches with hate and apocalyptic language.
As scary as it sounds, our race against McGraw is considered a dead heat. And national Republicans are preparing to spend millions on TV to prop up McGraw and sell him to voters as a moderate, common-sense voice.
If we don't step up now, there's a real chance this kind of far-right hate reaches Congress.
The House could be won or lost in IL-17. If we want to keep our First Amendment rights as we know them, flip the House blue and undo the damage done by extremists in the House, chip in $7 before midnight to help us ensure the district knows just who McGraw is.
