I am a first-generation African American and Black Hispanic Republican.

I earned my bachelor's degree in engineering from Trinity College and my master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bridgeport.

I served two terms in the Connecticut State Senate.

I’m the frontman for a Jimi Hendrix tribute band and volunteer my free time at the YMCA as a youth mentor. As an engineer and community leader, I have spent my life solving problems, both big and small.
Being a first-generation Afro-Latino American, many assume I must be a Democrat – but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I am a proud Afro-Latino Republican, ready to fight against radical politicians and work towards rebuilding the America we love.

In 2022, I came within less than 1% of flipping this seat from Squad member Jahana Hayes. Despite facing relentless and often racist attacks, I did not give up. I am a problem solver, and when there’s no solution, I build one.
