Yesterday, Donald Trump hosted a press conference… and it was a meltdown at Mar-a-Lago:
He compared his crowd sizes to Martin Luther King Jr.
Fact: Trump’s rallies have never come close to such a number. (This is also just a weird thing to say?)
He said the January 6 rioters were treated “very unfairly.”
Fact: These are convicted felons.
He claimed that no one died because of his insurrection on the Capitol.
Fact: Five people died and dozens more were injured.
John, it’s clear that Donald Trump is sinking in the polls. He knows it too, which is why his behavior is becoming more erratic and unhinged.
The sad truth is, it’s going to get worse between now and election day – and as we’ve seen in the past, he’s going to ramp up attacks on the democratic process too.
