During the National Justice Call on Aug. 15, [link removed] we’ll equip you with the skills to talk to your friends and family about what’s at stake this election season and how to create a meaningful plan to get them to the polls.

Vice President Kamala Harris has an impressive record of fighting for justice and equality dating from her time as an elected official and public servant in California through her tenure in the U.S. Senate. Under her and President Joe Biden’s leadership, the administration forgave student loan debt for more than 40 million borrowers, nominated and secured the historic confirmation of the first Black woman on the U.S. Supreme Court — Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson — and established a temporary Child Tax Credit expansion that helped reduce child poverty to a record low of 5.2% in 2021.

Kamala Harris’ leadership as president is what it will take to unite the country, protect our liberties and restore faith in our democracy.

And the latest exciting news: Vice President Harris announced on Tuesday that Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota will be her running mate on the Democratic ticket in November!

COC PAC is playing a leading role in the fight to protect Black people and to expand opportunities for our people and our communities in this election. We also are endorsing reform-minded, progressive district attorney candidates in Georgia, California, Ohio, Florida and Texas.

With a plethora of critical issues facing our nation, Black families across the country need your help, particularly because this November election will determine the nation’s fate for decades to come.
