This week, Speaker Mike Johnson flew all the way to Maine’s second district to hold a big rally and fundraiser for his hand-picked GOP nominee.
“As Maine goes, so goes the nation,” he told the audience. He said the road to the House majority runs through our district and called our race one of the top 5 contests in America this year. At least on these two points, we couldn’t agree more.
At the event, the Speaker made it clear that flipping Jared’s seat is a top priority saying that none are more important than ME-02.
But the problem is, Mainers don’t want a representative who fights for the political elites and the establishment in Washington, like our opponent would do by voting against women’s healthcare and labor rights. We deserve to have a Congressman who fights for us.
