Dear LULAC Family,

With great pride and excitement, I write to you today as we continue the critical
work of LULAC and our mission to advocate for our community. Today, I share some
historic news that marks a new chapter in our organization's 95 years.

For decades, LULAC has been leading the fight for policies that protect our
community's rights and their future. [ [link removed] ] We
have always been committed to ensuring that our voices are heard, that our issues
are addressed, and that our people are represented in the centers of power.

For these reasons, we have been exploring the creation of a Political Action
Committee (PAC) for quite some time. A PAC not only provides us with a stronger
platform to influence policy development but also allows us to support candidates
whose policies align with our community's needs and values.

Today, I announce that this vision has become a reality. We have officially
created the LULAC Adelante PAC [ [link removed] ] , a milestone for our
organization. This powerful tool signals to politicians and policymakers alike
that LULAC is not just watching from the sidelines—we are actively participating
in the process and intend to use this lever to its fullest potential.

The contrast between the two Presidential candidates in 2024 could not be
clearer. One path offers hope for our community, while the other threatens
devastation based on their proposed policies. After careful consideration, the
LULAC Adelante PAC endorsed the Harris-Walz ticket. [ [link removed] ]
However, this endorsement comes with expectations. We demand and will accept
nothing less than a seat at the table—a direct role in shaping the policies that
impact our community.

The LULAC Adelante PAC is fully operational, registered, and compliant with all
Federal Elections Commission (FEC) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
requirements. We are ready to do business and make our presence known. I am also
pleased to introduce the incredible team leading the LULAC Adelante PAC: Domingo
Garcia as Chair, James Fukuda as Treasurer, Gloria Leal as Secretary, and Board
Members Jose Barrera, Mari Corugedo, Lupe Torres, Elida Martinez, Manual
Martinez, Victoria Neave, and Juan Lopez. Please join me in welcoming this
dedicated team with open arms as they embark on the work we have needed for so
long.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we will make our voices heard. Adelante con
LULAC!
