This Week's Highlights

Monday

The NRCC announced that it has selected 26 Republicans to be part of its "Young Gun" program of non-incumbent candidates and challengers in battleground districts.

Three of them -- Nancy Dahlstrom (AK-AL), Laurie Buckhout (NC-01), and Alison Esposito (NY-18) -- are women we have been thrilled to support since earlier this year.

We are closely watching some of the other women candidates on the NRCC's list for opportunities to engage in the general election.

Tuesday

WFW PAC-backed Lt. Gov Nancy Dahlstrom (AK-AL) shared a new video message from former President Donald Trump expressing his support for her campaign and her record of fighting for Alaskans in the state legislature.

She has commitment to working with him in Congress to stop the flow of fentanyl into Alaska and the rest of the country.

Wednesday

Missouri voters rejected Squad member Rep. Cori Bush (MO-01) this week. Her defeat was the second of the cycle for the Squad, with New Yorkers having voted out Rep. Jamaal Bowman (NY-16) earlier this summer.

WFW PAC-backed Alison Esposito (NY-18) pointed out that Bush, like Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and her Democrat opponent Rep. Pat Ryan, held similar far-left views -- from sympathizing with pro-Hamas activists to radical tax-and-spend policies that have sent prices through the roof.

Thursday

With Congress out of session, members like Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) are back in their districts meeting with constituents.

Miller-Meeks is currently in the middle of a 20-county tour around Iowa. This week she met with voters to discuss important issues like the cost of prescription drugs, the Harris-Biden open border, and how Democrats’ policies have contributed to inflation.
