BREAKING: EPA suspends dangerous Dacthal

This is HUGE, friend.

The EPA has suspended all uses of Dacthal, a toxic pesticide found on kale, broccoli and collard greens due to its harm to the developing fetus. And it’s effective immediately! This is a huge win for our health and our environment, and it wouldn’t be possible without your support. Thank you.

But this decision is long overdue, and many other harmful pesticides remain on the market. Just take a look:

•	Paraquat – linked to Parkinson’s disease and banned in more than 65 countries, yet still allowed in the U.S.
•	Glyphosate – over 250 million pounds of glyphosate are dumped on American farmland each year, and EWG tests have found unsafe levels of glyphosate in Cheerios, chickpeas and Quaker Oats.
•	Neonics – these pesticides have been linked to drastic decline in bee populations and some have been linked to brain damage in kids.

EWG is fighting to get these pesticides and more out of our food, air and water, but we need your help.
