Trump Announces Fall Presidential Debate Schedule |
Former President Donald Trump announced he has agreed to three debates against Vice President Kamala Harris, scheduled for September 4 on Fox News, September 10 on ABC, and September 25 on NBC.
This announcement includes the ABC debate that Trump previously suggested had been "terminated."
Trump criticized Harris for not holding press conferences and questioned her ability to do so.
The Trump campaign is challenging Harris's limited engagement with the media since becoming the Democratic nominee. Read More. |
Kamala Finally Speaks To The Media |
Vice President Kamala Harris spoke to reporters for the first time since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee nearly three weeks ago.
Harris addressed criticism about not holding a formal press conference, promising to schedule an interview before the end of the month.
She confirmed an agreement to debate former President Trump on September 10 and expressed willingness for additional debates.
The vice president's media engagement comes after Trump attacked her for not taking on-the-record questions since becoming the nominee.
Harris had gone 18 days without a formal press conference since President Biden endorsed her and suspended his re-election campaign on July 21. Read More. |
Harris-Walz Campaign Works Overtime To Hide Walz's Phony Military Credentials |
The Harris-Walz presidential campaign has updated Tim Walz's online biography, removing a reference to him as a "retired command sergeant major."
The change comes amid Republican scrutiny of Walz's military credentials in the Army National Guard.
Walz served as a command sergeant major but allegedly retired as a master sergeant in 2005 because he hadn't completed the coursework required for the higher rank.
This issue has been raised in previous campaigns, including Walz's 2018 race for governor of Minnesota.
The campaign's website now states that Walz "served as a command sergeant major" instead of describing him as retired at that rank. Read More. |
Kamala’s Midwest Gambit Faces Uphill Battle with Blue-Collar Voters |
Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate for the 2024 presidential campaign.
The campaign is emphasizing Walz's midwestern, veteran, and working-class background to appeal to middle-American voters.
Political strategists suggest that despite the campaign's efforts, Walz's policies on immigration, abortion, and climate change may not resonate with working-class voters in the Midwest.
Walz's handling of the 2020 riots in Minneapolis and his support for progressive policies may also be a point of contention for some voters.
Some strategists argue that while Walz may not be seen as an "elite," his background might not fully connect with the working class as the campaign hopes. Read More. |
Nancy Pelosi Confirmed She Helped Lead The Charge To Force Biden Out Of The Election |
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressed her long-standing dissatisfaction with President Joe Biden's campaign operation in an interview with The New Yorker.
Pelosi stated she was concerned about Biden's chances of winning in November and felt that a decision needed to be made for a better campaign.
She played a role in pushing Biden to leave the ticket, citing dire polling results from June and July.
Pelosi described her actions as a "political legacy rescue mission" for a president she deeply admired, even at the cost of their personal relationship.
The former speaker hopes to maintain her friendship with Biden despite her involvement in his decision to drop out of the race and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris. Read More. |
New Bodycam Footage Shows Butler PA Cop’s Rooftop Confrontation With Trump’s Attempted Assassin |
New bodycam footage shows officers' actions during the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The footage reveals officers confronting the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, on the roof of the American Glass Research building. Officers expressed frustration over communication difficulties and the inability to find the shooter quickly. The incident resulted in one death and three injuries, including a minor injury to Trump. Controversy surrounds the Secret Service's absence from the roof. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned on July 23 following criticism of the "stunning operational failure" during the rally. Read More. |
Dems Chase Green Dreams With Empty Wallets As Biden's $85M Heat Pump Gamble Flops |
The Biden administration is providing nearly $85 million in grants to four producers of electric heat pumps, despite falling consumer demand.
U.S. shipments of heat pumps dropped 16 percent in 2023, even after the federal tax credit was increased from $300 to $2,000.
Heat pumps are significantly more expensive to install than traditional furnaces, costing an average of $10,750 compared to $4,700 for a new furnace.
The administration is using the Defense Production Act and the Inflation Reduction Act to fund these projects, framing it as a response to climate change.
This funding is part of a larger push by the Biden administration to promote green appliances and energy efficiency, including new regulations on washers, dryers, and gas stoves.
Critics argue that these initiatives are costly to consumers and may not be economically viable, given the current energy market trends. Read More. |
Digital Ad Group Leading Charge On Conservative Censorship Dissolves After Being Sued By X And Rumble |
The Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM), an influential advertising coalition, announced its dissolution amid lawsuits from social media companies X and Rumble. The lawsuits accuse GARM of colluding with advertising agencies to censor conservatives and withhold monetization from "disfavored platforms." A House Judiciary Committee report released in July alleged that GARM and its members organized boycotts and used tactics to target certain platforms and content creators. GARM's guidelines labeled "debated sensitive social issues" and "hate speech" as content inappropriate for advertising support, and reportedly blacklisted conservative media companies. X's lawsuit claims GARM members illegally colluded to withhold billions in advertising revenue, while Rumble's suit alleges GARM established arbitrary standards to perpetrate an advertiser boycott. The dissolution of GARM is seen as a victory for free speech advocates and those opposing the alleged censorship of conservative voices online. Read More. |
Special Counsel Says Hunter Biden Received More Than $3 Million To Influence Policy On Behalf Of Romania |
Special Counsel David Weiss stated in a court filing that Hunter Biden accepted over $3 million from a Romanian partner to "influence U.S. government agencies" during Joe Biden's vice presidency.
Weiss intends to introduce evidence at trial related to Hunter's dealings with CEFC China Energy Co. and Burisma Holdings, claiming Hunter did little work in exchange for millions received.
The filing comes after a previously negotiated plea deal for Hunter Biden fell apart, leading to separate gun and tax charges being filed.
Hunter Biden now faces a total of 42 years in federal prison for nine tax and three gun-related convictions, with trials scheduled for September and November. Read More. |
Two Teenagers Were Planning An ISIS-Inspired Terrorist Attack On Taylor Swift’s Vienna Concert |
Two ISIS-inspired teenagers, aged 19 and 17, were arrested in Austria for plotting a terror attack on Taylor Swift's concert in Vienna.
The main suspect, identified as 19-year-old Beran A., planned to drive a car into the crowd, attack with knives, and detonate a suicide bomb.
Neighbors described Beran A. as a formerly "harmless boy next door" who had recently changed his appearance and behavior after becoming radicalized.
The suspects had stolen chemicals to manufacture explosives and were preparing for the attack when they were apprehended by authorities.
As a result of the foiled plot, Taylor Swift's three scheduled concerts in Vienna were canceled due to security concerns. Read More. |
Will Vice President Kamala Harris actually debate former President Donald Trump?
Trump said he’s committed to three September debates and, as of yesterday, Kamala agreed to participate.
Polling currently suggests that the race for the Oval Office is neck and neck. Kamala has, generally, been able to avoid the media since announcing her candidacy, but can this last?
The media will obviously run cover for her and whitewash any gaffes she makes at debates and campaign events, but in a race this close, will the people accept that?
Nothing should be taken for granted in politics. Considering her disastrous tenure as vice president, Kamala should be frantic to get in front of cameras and clarify how she would run things differently than her current boss.
The American people are owed that. Those who seek to rule us must justify why they deserve power.
Kamala must debate Trump. Flaking is unacceptable. |
