Kamala Harris' journey to becoming one of the most
influential figures in American politics started in the 1990s
when she was romantically linked with television host Montel
Williams. Even then, her ambitions were clear, and her

was just the beginning of a career defined by radical left-wing
policies and controversial decisions.
