John, on Tuesday night, I was honored to join Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as they officially kicked off their campaign right here in Pennsylvania. And it was fitting that they chose to launch their campaign in Philadelphia – because Philadelphia is the birthplace of real freedom.

The other side loves to talk a big game about freedom. They love to cloak themselves in the blanket of freedom all the time.

But hear me on this:

It’s not freedom to tell our children what books they’re allowed to read.

It’s not freedom to say you can go to work but you can’t join a union.

It’s not freedom to tell women what they’re allowed to do with their bodies.

And it’s not freedom to say you can go vote, but they’re going to pick the winner.

But Kamala Harris and Tim Walz? They are for real freedom – no matter who you are, where you’re from, what you look like or who you do or do not pray to.

In 89 days, real freedom will be on the ballot. And I'm ready to fight like hell to elect our first Madam President, protect real freedom, and keep our country moving forward.
