A new poll shows us up BIG on the MAGA incumbent. This goes to show that Pennsylvanians know we need a change in the Auditor General’s office. They know that we must rebuild the Bureau of School Audits, that we need a first of its kind, Bureau of Labor and Worker Protections, and that we need the kind of transparency and accountability that shows a government that works for THEM. As Pennsylvania's next Auditor General, I will conduct an audit of our Commonwealth's compliance with hate-based crime reporting.

I recently held a joint press conference in Erie with our Attorney General candidate Eugene Depasquale and several local officials to announce that upon our victories in November, we will create a joint task force on hate crimes. I will audit and review policies, procedures, and training related to hate-based violence and review K-12 anti-bullying policies to ensure that we are tracking, preventing, and demanding accountability for all instances of hate-based violence and bullying in the Commonwealth. Hate or violence has no place in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and together we will create this task force that merges the investigative and prosecutorial powers of both offices.
