John,
I wanted to express my deepest thanks for your incredible support throughout this campaign. Your dedication and hard work have meant the world to me.
While this race didn’t turn out as planned, our fight for progress in the face of unprecedented challenges is far from over. The issues we’ve championed — from climate change and education to workforce development and childcare — remain critical.
Together, we built a powerful movement and united folks across the District, from Neah Bay to Commencement Bay, behind our message of lowering costs, creating economic opportunity, addressing our housing needs, protecting our freedoms, and addressing the climate crisis. I’m especially grateful to the over 40 unions, firefighters and first responders, and 17 Tribes that stood with me in this race.
As we look ahead to November, it’s crucial that we stay engaged and keep pushing forward. I’ve called Senator Randall to congratulate her on her historic primary win, and it is time for all of us to work harder than ever so we can flip the House, defeat Donald Trump, and defend our democracy.
Thank you for standing with me. Together, we will keep working to make a difference.
With sincere appreciation,
Hilary Franz
