Make Your Voice Heard at the Dallas City Council
|

|
|
|
 |
We know you care deeply about the Dallas community and want to see our city thrive! Vagrancy and crime in our city must be addressed and the City Council is ignoring these issues. We need to show up in large numbers to City Council meetings and show our leaders who they really work for.
The true extent of the Dallas vagrancy crisis is shown in a brand new mapping tool from a tech startup called ‘Nomadik AI.’ They have mapped most of the reported camps in Dallas illustrating that vagrancy is happening in our backyards.
|
|
Vagrancy brings with it major crime and destitution to any area around it. Check out the map here and see if your neighborhood is safe.
Dallas City Council has the power to fix this issue– so why are we still dealing with them? Many council members are obsessed with their Leftist activism and will stop at nothing to win points via virtue signaling. The Council does not see fixing crime and keeping Dallas safe as politically advantageous.
This is where you come in. With local politics, half the battle is showing up. The next City Council Meeting is this Wednesday at 9 a.m. You can sign up to be a speaker today! Will you join KDS in helping save our city?

Major Road Rage Incident Shuts Down I-635
Interstate 635 was shut down during rush hour this week when a minor wreck turned into a major road rage incident with stabbings involved. Always pay attention to the road; if someone treats you wrong, it’s always best to be as defensive as possible. Dallas’s current crime culture has certainly fed into this incident, and unfortunately, it won’t be the last. Safe streets are a civil right!

DPD Officers Fired for Breaking Rules Amidst Police Shortage
Amidst the DPD staffing shortage, which deeply affects our city's safety, DPD Chief Garcia had to fire two officers after severe infractions. Dallas has to count on the police force we have right now, and Chief Garcia needs an increased margin of officers for when he has to weed out the bad actors.

District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez
"Tent Palace Camp"
This camp in Omar Narvaez’s District 6 has been dubbed “Tent Palace Camp.” Month after month, it has persisted under this overpass. Omar Narvaez has taken little responsibility for keeping his district safe from these vagrants. Don't make it easy for people to live on the streets.

District 11 Councilwoman Jaynie Schultz
"Spring Valley Camp"
This camp in Jaynie Schultz’s District 11 has earned the title “Spring Valley Camp.” This street, has become a persistent panhandler’s paradise that allows vagrants to accost morning commuters and shoppers at the nearby Galleria. Will Jaynie Schultz take accountability for allowing these camps to exist like this?

District 2 Councilman Jesse Moreno
"Free Parking Camp"
We named this camp in Jesse Moreno’s District 2 “Free Parking Camp.” The proximity to the Dallas Public Library has caused a major controversy among many City leaders. Would you pay to park here if you took your child to the library? Law-abiding citizens are being disincentivized from visiting their local library due to unchecked vagrancy. How shameful!

Mission Statement:
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of urban camping.
