This might be easy for you, Senator, but you're not a server losing wages, a single mom losing her job to stay home with her kids, or one of 5 million Texans without insurance.

There's a word for this: xenophobia. Texas communities deserve better than racist dog whistles, and Americans are looking for leadership and solutions. It's time to unify, not divide on racist lines and point fingers. Please stop making things worse and get back to work.

We're not panicking. We're expecting leadership. Taking a long weekend to kick back with a beer while the Senate neglects to pass crucial COVID-19 legislation is not it.
