John, When a child is protected from preventable diseases, they can go to school, their parents can go to work, and their community can thrive. They can even become an Olympian like the athletes shining at the Summer Olympics. Why is this a race we can win? Over the past two decades, the world has made remarkable progress in vaccinating children. Routine vaccinations have saved an estimated 154 million lives over the last five decades – over 3 million lives per year. But the work is not done. Globally, 21 million children missed out on life-saving vaccines in 2023. We know gold medal results are in our reach. If you agree that no child should die of a preventable disease like pneumonia, hepatitis, and measles, add your name to join us. Thanks as always for your support. Kelli Meyer, ONE |
