When a child is protected from preventable diseases, they can go to school, their parents can go to work, and their community can thrive. They can even become an Olympian like the athletes shining at the Summer Olympics.

That’s why we’re calling on everyone, everywhere, to support global vaccine programs that help expand the reach of vaccinations where children need them most. 

Why is this a race we can win? Over the past two decades, the world has made remarkable progress in vaccinating children. Routine vaccinations have saved an estimated 154 million lives over the last five decades – over 3 million lives per year.
