Some of our recommendations include not saying “IRA” (i.e. the Inflation Reduction Act) because no one knows what that means. Instead, we need to talk about what’s actually in the Inflation Reduction Act and explain how it’s bringing millions of dollars to their communities to help fight climate change, create new jobs, and build our clean energy economy.

We also need to share local stories about how this money is being spent and impacting communities on the ground level. That’s why our members have recently held events at national parks, schools, and new manufacturing facilities in their districts, where these resources are already having a major impact.
