Dear John,

You may recall that a couple of months ago - before the Coronavirus crisis outbroke - I sent you a survey to get your input on what we should focus on in 2020.

We’re excited to share with you the results, and let you know that thanks to your input, we have a clearer focus on our planning for this year.

This is a great example of the strength of CitizenGO. We don’t rely on corporate heavyweights, politicians, or political parties for direction. We're guided only by our core values and our members.

When you provide us direction, we listen.

Now for the survey results… Most of our members pinpointed that the Defense of Life from conception should be the greatest priority for CitizenGO in 2020. 88.1% of members feel this way.

Right after that, the Fight against Gender ideology and the radical LGBT agenda follows next. We identified some big fights: Christian charities are losing their adoption rights, LGBT base curriculum is taking over schools, and not mention student-athletes who are being required to shower and change with people of the opposite sex. They're trying to steamroller our values but we can stop them!

Other important priorities are the defense of marriage, family, religious freedom, and the fight against euthanasia.

Here are the survey results:

I also asked your opinion on how we should prioritize dealing with these challenges. There's much we can do but our hands and resources are limited. So we need help to understand what our priorities should be.

The overwhelming response from our members is to focus on political impact and increasing our pressure on politicians. Our representatives in government need to hear from us. We elect them to hold office.

We've taken note and we’re ready to work harder to hold politicians accountable.

Another priority set is to grow in strength and numbers. Currently, we are 12.458.875 (more than twelve million! ) members. But we can and have to be many more. The more we are, the more strength we can apply to politicians, and the more likely our voices will be heard.

Here's the survey results' chart:

We hear you loud and clear! We will focus mainly on increasing pressure on our politicians and secondly grow in strength and numbers.

Lastly, I also asked you about our tools in CitizenGO and how well we did last year. We've ‘graduated’ with honors! Thank you for trusting CitizenGO.

20.1% of the answers said that we did an awesome job, 37.2% valued it as great, and 28% as good. Only 8.6% valued simply as "fine", only 0.8% as not very good and 0.1% as not good at all.

Long story short, more than 90% of CitizenGOers are happy with our work (that’s your work and my work) and happy to help and take part in it. This fills us with enthusiasm and energy to keep going.

Lastly, 23.7% valued our work, in 2019, as excellent and 48.4% above average. Wow! You've set the bar really high for us in 2020. But your trust and thousands of CitizenGOers' s motivates me to give 200% in the battles ahead.

Thanks a lot for trusting CitizenGO, this global community of concerned and committed citizens. Together we build a better world for our children.

Thanks for taking your time in setting our priorities and challenges.

As I told you at the beginning of this letter, thanks to this 2020 survey we have a clearer focus on our planning for this year… In fact, we have been planning some of the campaigns we want to launch to defend the values you told us to defend... but we found out that we don’t have funds to pay for all campaigns we want to launch this year.

Please, be watchful to your email inbox. I hope to send you in 2 days a new message to share with you more details on this issue.

We will follow your lead in 2020 and we hope that in December this year - when Coronavirus will be a bad memory - we can 'graduate' with honors again...

Thank you again for always being there, for signing, sharing, and funding our campaigns, the battles we care for.

Thank you,

Gregory Mertz and the entire CitizenGO team
