Friends —

If your inbox is anything like ours, it’s probably pretty full these days.

We understand that it might be tough to see how one contribution could make a difference in one of the most competitive, most expensive Senate races in the country. So we wanted to take a few minutes and explain why $5 really — truly — has a massive impact on our campaign.

Our primary was a little over one week ago. Kari Lake officially became our opponent. Someone who has made threats of political violence towards government employees, who has attacked honorable election workers, who has spread conspiracies and misinformation relentlessly. She calls herself “Trump in heels” and her supporters call her the “MAGA Queen.”

She’s crisscrossing the country, raising tons of cash. She’s got Trump behind her. And she's got outside groups dropping major advertising buys, spending BIG in Arizona against Ruben. And that’s why your support is so important.

According to our records, you haven’t donated to one of these emails. If you chip in to this one, that money will be put to work immediately, reaching voters across Arizona.

We’re talking about staff, television advertisements, radio, digital ads, social media, mail, sending out door knockers, holding town halls, rallies — that’s the stuff your donation goes towards.

And when we fall short of our goals (like we are right now), these are the programs we have to cut.

And that’s why we have to ask you:

Can you please make your first online $5 donation to Ruben’s campaign for U.S. Senate? To stay on track, hit our goals, and defeat Kari Lake, we need your help.

Thank you for your help,

Team Gallego
