Dear John,
Getting outside and having fun this summer? Maybe you’ve been enjoying the beautiful redwood groves where there’s so much to see — from the awe inspiring redwoods stretching toward the sky, to the wildlife and critters that call these forests home.
For when you can’t be out in the forest, we’ve made a New York Times Connections-inspired game that will put your nature-loving brain to the test. For the next four weeks, you can flex your problem-solving muscles and try to solve our redwoods themed puzzles! [[link removed]]
Search for four groups of four words that share something in common — and check the full instructions on the game page if you ever get stuck!
Today we’re starting with a Redwoods 101 puzzle… but we can’t promise that they won’t get trickier from here. And, no matter how you do, you’ll at least have fun trying to solve the puzzles!
We’ll be dropping a new game in your inbox weekly for the next month, so keep your eye out.
Good luck!
Redwood Gamemaster
P.S. Don’t be shy — use the hashtag #TrailMixAndMatch on social media to share how you did! We’ll see you next week for another round of Trail Mix & Match [[link removed]] .
